Ps. Roy began his ministry career in 1995 when he received his divine call. He pursued theological education and completed a three-year Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program at Bethel Bible College in Punalur, Kerala, India. He continued his studies and obtained a Master of Theology (M.Th.) degree in Church History from SAIACS in Bangalore, India.

During his career, Ps. Roy has served various roles, including as a Bible teacher at three different Bible colleges in Kerala. He has also worked as a pastor at the Church of God (Full Gospel) in India, Pathanamthitta, Kerala; Mahaniam Pentecostal Church in Manchester, United Kingdom, and at the Ebenezer City Church in Melbourne.

To support his ministerial work, Ps. Roy holds an ordination certificate from the Australian Christian Churches (ACC). Additionally, he is a registered marriage celebrant by the Victorian State Government. He and his wife, Annie, along with their two children, Sharon and Shalom, work together for the extension of the Kingdom of God.
